Primary Skills: Mainframe admin
Responsibilities:
Candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Mainframe z/OS and performed OS installation and up gradation. He must also have expertise knowledge on Storage, Server maintenance. He must have experience in managing an IBM Mainframe environment for a comparable client. He should have lead Continuous service improvement processes and increase operational efficiency. People with RIM or ITSM background preferred.
• Installation and Up gradation of z/OS.
• Maintenance and Administration of z/OS and USS.
• Applying Patches and RSU maintenance for z/OS.
• Installation and Up-gradation of ISV products.
• Definition and installation of logical configuration of the hardware to host system (IOCP / IOCDS).
• Administration and Management of Tape system.
• Expertise Knowledge on Storage Administrations tasks as SMS management,
Maintaining ACS routines and storage utilization
• Perform audits on system
• Maintain SYSPLEX configuration and coupling structures.
• Disaster Recovery
