Position Description
This position is responsible for creating complex Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) procedures to feed data into the Clinical Data Warehouse, from disparate clinical data sources. Ensuring that the extracted information meets all clinical and business requirements of the organization and the end-users and making programming changes to existing and new ETL jobs. The individual will contribute ideas and solutions for the Data Warehouse and provide technical counsel and guidance to other team members, consultants, IS Staff, and end-users.
Requirements:
· 5+ years ETL/data architect role with responsibility/ownership for Data Integration transformation design/implementation, hands on developing ETL tools, e.g. DataStage against Oracle databases.
· 2+ years DataStage development experience.
· Superior problem solving skills, the ability to work independently, and great communication skills are required.
· Healthcare experience, IBM InfoSphere, Netezza
· Experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, IBM Datastage is required
