Urgent Requirement ; QA with Shell Scripting - Houston, TX - Immediate need

We have the following requirement with our client in TX where we are looking for local candidates who can start immediately.

 

Note this is a Manual QA position who has worked extensively on Shell scripting and strong in Unix.

QA Tester with Unix and Shell Script exp

Location – Sugarland, TX - Suburb of Houston    (need local candidates who can start immediately)

Duration : 6 months plus (ongoing project)

 

 

The requirement is for QA Tester with the below skills and good to have automation.

·        8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance Unix commands, Unix scripts

·        Good Experience working on QC.

·        Demonstrated experience to learn a new domain of knowledge and apply it to test complex multi-tier software systems

·        2 years experience testing application software for Windows Desktop and Windows Server

·        2 years experience with Linux or AIX with a basic understanding of Unix commands, and scripts- Worked on unix/linux environment and should know how to use commands 

·        2 years experience with Oracle or other SQL software with a working understanding of SQL commands and scripts- Experience working on shell scripts

·        Expertise in developing and maintaining an overall test methodology and strategy for a large system- Good understanding of database and should be able to write complex queries

·        Expertise in writing, executing, and maintaining test plans and test cases- Should have good understanding of testing processes

·        Good experience in Effort Estimations

·        Good knowledge of C#, .Net, SQL, VB Scrip, Unix commands, Unix scripts
