Qualifications:
**Need locals with in-person interview available.
Job Description:
- Support Oracle databases (10g/11g)
- Requirements gathering with business and application development teams
- Recommendation on approach for the DB based off requirements
- Deploy code, setup the DB to meet application needs
- Develop stored procedures, triggers, etc as needed by the application.
- Develop scripts for the Operations group to utilize for day-to-day troubleshooting of DB issues
- Provide Proofs of Concept for new technologies/advanced in the DB platform and work to deploy and roll-out as necessary
- Provide Performance Tuning (queries primarily, and otherwise)
- Help define infrastructure strategy for the organization based on application needs and trends in the marketplace
- Perform patches and upgrades when applicable
