Position: Unix System Admin

Location: Jersey City

Duration: 9+ Months

 

Job Description: 

 

·         Very Sr. Unix system administration and support.

·         Provide day to day operational and build support in an environment consisting of thousands of Solaris, Linux and AIX servers in a 24x7 operational data center.

·         Perform hardware breakfix, triage, software support, and builds.

·         Performing 4th level troubleshooting on server issues.

·         Patch and upgrade server OS. Communicate with customers to resolve issues and builds as quickly as necessary.

·         Demanding trading environment with emphasis on responsiveness and problem ownership.

·         Organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks and projects as required. (Detailed)
