Contract :mid-level EDI Developer
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration:6 Months
Position Title EDI Developer
Education / Experience Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or related field, or equivalent.
4 -6 years related experience
Skills / Technology Solid to Advanced understanding of Sterling Integrator, Axway, SQL.
Good understanding of EDI development concepts, techniques, and standards.
Intermediate communication and organization skills.
Responsibilities
· Manage multiple integration projects simultaneously. Ability to complete map development and AS2 connectivity.
· Act as liaison among partners, software vendors and internal departments.
· Troubleshoot and respond to user questions / issues and escalate problems.
· Write detailed functional and technical specifications for use by internal teams.
· Job Knowledge and Complexity .Works on problems and issues of simple to moderate scope and complexity, where the primary duty directly relates to the general business operations of the company.
· Level of Supervision, Planning and Organization Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
· Discretion Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will impact schedules and budgets, and potentially short-term objectives of the department.
· Interactions Interacts with peers, business/customers and immediate supervisor
· Problem-Solving Problems require analysis of data to choose among a selection of possible courses of action.
· Brings issues and potential solutions to supervisor
· Decision Making Responsibilities Makes routine decisions about work priorities and defers to supervisor for critical decision making
