 Hands on QA Engineer to perform White box testing and should have following

 

Job Responsibility

 Do QA of sophisticated Java based product that captures mail / telephony/ internet data from various sources, stores it in its databases, performs detailed analytics on the data, and then presents it to users on multiple dashboards

 

Independent working knowledge of the following: communication equipment and technologies, routers, mail servers, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS/IPS), VOIP/SIP, Telephony, Chat, network protocol analyzers, and network traffic generation.

 

Should have good understanding of Database (MySQL or similar) and log files. Should be able to query database.

 10+ of intensive and progressive experience in a computer related field. Experience in performing software testing for software / hardware applications or systems is desired.

 Prepare and execute Test Scripts according to requirements. Proficient in one or more scripting languages e.g. Perl, Python, Tcl/Tk, Shell programming

 Compile and analyze test results data to determine conformity of the product or capability to the requirements.

 Document change requests/deficiencies of the product or capability as a result of test data analysis.

 Perform interoperability and integration testing, as well as functional testing of various systems, tools, and networks.

 May participate in all phases software development under the direction of a QA Manager/Lead.

Coordinate with other engineers to ensure the test infrastructure will meet desired test objectives.

Actively participate throughout the process in order to influence development of a product or capability that is testable.

 Provide technical advisory and assistance support to development team.
