Job Title: Sr. Data Analyst

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Irvine, CA

Job Description:

· The individual will be working closely with our DW Architect to collect, analyze and discover data patterns from various source systems.

· Outputs resulting from such data analysis process will be fed into Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence design process.

· The data analyst is highly skilled professional with data warehousing background in financial, loan and leasing industry.

· Familiarity with concepts and tools for querying, reporting, OLAP and dimensional modeling is critical.

General Responsibilities:

· Perform data analysis on raw data from various source system

· Collaborate with SMEs in understanding the meaning of data

· Provide input to DW architect in data modeling and data warehouse design

· Support developers and administrators in development

· Prepare documentation & knowledge transfer of results from data analysis.

Other Requirements:

· Excellent ability to discover patterns in data

· Excellent ability to understand data structures as they relate to business processes

· Excellent ability to work with and analyze ambiguous data from various sources

· Highly skilled in SQL and other query languages

· Highly trained and experienced in using various query tools such as Toad

· Good knowledge of Dimensional Modeling and design

· Good Knowledge in Business Intelligence reporting with BI tools such as MicroStrategy, SAS, Microsoft SSRS, Business Objects or similar

· Industry experience in financial, lending and leasing.
