Job Requirements:-

 

Responsible for gathering network specifications by conferring with clients and business units; designing router configurations based on network specifications and standards. 

v      Evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency; planning and executing the installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; establishing connections and validating firewall rules.

v      Network performance monitoring and analysis; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendors as required.

v      Secures network by validating and implementing firewall rules as per ADP policy. 

v      Provides day to day support for ADP client and enterprise network issues.

v      Provides support for network upgrades; works with vendor, deploying and testing code, hardware and feature enhancements. 

v      Protects organization by keeping client and vendor information confidential.

v      Accomplish organizational goals by taking ownership of assigned tasks; exploring opportunities for process improvements that add value to the organization and role. 

Skills/Qualifications:  Carrier Services (MAN/WAN), Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Proxy Services, Wireless, DNS, NHCP, NTP, B2B, VPN, MPLS, Frame Relay, ISDN, SONET, CISCO,  Network Performance Tuning, LAN Knowledge, Network Design and Implementation, Problem Solving, Multi-tasking, Quality Focus.  CCNA certification preferred.
