We are seeking a Development Technical Lead for our direct end client in Atlanta, GA. Please send resume with rate, location and contact information.

The Dev Tech Lead is designed to offload day-to-day project delivery oversight responsibilities from Development Managers.  .

The Dev Tech Lead has to work effectively with Leadership and multiple stakeholders to apply customer relationship management practices, including the identification of appropriate, mutually agreed objectives.

The Dev Tech Lead must also be able to work effectively with lead technical personnel (Development Team Managers, Systems Analysts, Developers, Testers), and clearly translate business priorities and objectives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Ensures coordination of delivery teams within a specific domain

·         Works with development leads to define code drops and coordinates the alignment of code drop dependencies

·         Must be able to create and maintain a plan using MS Project and report weekly progress based on the plan

·         Coordinate through the development managers all delivery activities and acts as the escalation point for all development issues specific to projects

·         Coordinates and communicates night of deployment status and issues to leadership on planned deployment activity dates

·         Act as a technical Project Manager for the development organization when there is no Project Manager assigned from the EPO

·         Mentor Project Managers on IT methodology and drive consistent processes

·         Act as the escalation path through the IT organization on project development issues

Experience:

·         Minimum 5  years of software development and project experience

·         MS Project for planning, monitoring, and reporting

·         Experience in onshore/offshore model for project delivery

·         Prefer knowledge of application development and system architecture preferred; basic knowledge of web/SOAP services, Java, and XML preferred.

·         Skills and knowledge acquired through Development, Technical Lead, or Project Management experience are required in each of the following areas: Project Management, Change Management, Release Management, Configuration Management, Systems Integration, Systems Development Life Cycle Methodologies, Quality Assurance and Testing, Requirements Gathering, and Systems Analysis and Design.
