Direct Client Need : PERFORMANCE TESTING ENGINEER

Kansas City KS

3 months Contract to Hire (CTH)

 

LOAD RUNNER AND PERFORMANCE TESTING ENGINEER

 

•                Minimum Bachelor Degree with at least 3-5 years' experience in L&P testing.Experience with L&P testing methodology and able to handle application performance testing independently (planning, requirement gathering, scripting, execution, analysis result preparation, etc.).

•                Experience with HP ALM/performance center v11 testing tool and proficient with web (http/HTML), web services, database, Citrix,Oracle and other commonly used LoadRunner protocols.

•                Experience developing and enhancing scripts with LoadRunner (vugen) using C, Java, Web services and SQL.

•                Experience with HP Sitescope & HP diagnostics monitoring tool to capture specific metrics for JBoss, Apache, virtual servers, Weblogic, iPlanet, Oracle Server, UNIX and other OS's.

•                Responsible for assigned application's performance test management, recording & tracking test metrics, defects, issues and impacts resulting from each baseline, stress and endurance test.

•                Experience with reporting test results, defects, issues and impacts to stakeholders.

•                Experience working with business to identify/validate performance critical business transactions, relevant transaction mix, weighting for each business transaction and success criteria for performance tests.

•                Experience working with application development teams, DBA's, SA's, Business with all channels (IM, email, bridge, meeting) available to resolve performance defects.

•                Experience with coordinating testing activity with appropriate parties (development, DBA's, third party vendors, IT & others)

•                Experience providing daily status of testing for respective application include summary of the testing and current outstanding issues or risks.

•                Good Communication skill & able to drive testing activities independently (requirements gathering, test planning, defect resolution, setup meeting etc.)
