Role:

SAS Business Analyst (26360)– 18 month contract located in Dallas

 

Info:

Business Analyst II gathers, documents, and most importantly, analyzes application requirements, conducts application analysis, participates in functional application design, creates and analyzes ad-hoc reports and aids in the escalation/resolution of project risks and issues.
Creating ad-hoc reports in Business Objects, manipulating/mining of data, MS Excel/Access. Will work with TRAX, DARTS, FALCON, and Equator. 
Candidates will be required to pull data using our BO reporting environment, perform an analysis on that data and provide management with their findings. They will also be responsible for taking information provided by our senior BA's and compiling it into established templates for daily/weekly/monthly management reporting. 

Main/Required Skills for this position:
SAS
Unix
SQL

Great to have Visio (for process flows)
3-4 years of requirements analysis
Bachelor's Degree (required): (Information Systems, Business. etc. )
Need someone with 4-6 years of work experience. 
Reports vs. Business Requirements ( This job will be dealing with 70% reports and 30% business requirements)
Business Objects (1-3 yrs. of experience with this tool) Ad-Hoc Reporting, Data Mining, MS Access and Excel, good reporting and data analysis skills 
Prefer Candidates with mortgage experience and/or Collections experience

Ability to document business processes                                                                 

Ability to translate high level business requirements into functional and system requirements

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)                                              

Excellent knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

FNM and Financial Industry experience desired

Knowledge of requirement tools, such as Rational Requisite Pro

Strong analytical skills

Strong knowledge of SQL for querying databases
