Job Description:-

 

Technology:     AS/400, Networking and Switching

 

• Practical Exposure on Message queues and understanding of System Logs
• Basic Problem Solving Skills,
• Knowledge of AS400 Network Interface and TCP/IP
• Knowledge of file level and object level
• Backup and Restore or BRMS
• Practical Exposure of Subsystems, Batch Jobs and JOBQ
• Worked on User Profile, Group Profile and Authority
• Printer management
• IBM Job Scheduler or ROBOT
• Knowledge of PTFs
• Basic working knowledge of working with HMC
• Basic working knowledge of SST and DST
• Knowledge of identifying Software and Hardware Errors
• Knowledge of Systems Values and AS400 Security
• Should know process of Incident/Change Management
• IPL and Operation Navigator
• Sysem Cleanup when Disk Space increase.
• Knowledge of Journaling on iSeries
