Job Title – Senior QA Consultant

Location – Rockville, MD

Duration – 1 Year

 

Local Preferred (VA/DC/MD)

Face to Face Interview

 

 Requirements

• Good understanding and 3+ years of experience with testing process, test types and testing methodologies.
• Good understanding and 2+ years of experience with Object oriented design.
• 2+ years of experience with programming in either Java (preferred), C#, Ruby, or Python.
• Good understanding and application of algorithms.
• Good understanding and 2+ years of experience with SQL and relational database design.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Experience with the Unix/Linux environment.
• Understanding of common development technologies (AJAX, J2EE/.NET, Javascript, HTML, XML/XSL, Web Services [SOAP, REST] …etc)

Responsibilities

• Execute manual tests.
• Develop scripts, utilities, simulators, data generators and other programmatic test tools as required to execute tests.
• Automation development and test solutions development.
• Create test plans and test strategies.
• Create and execute test cases based on test strategies and test plans.
• Participate in reviews of system architecture, code and design documents.
• Effectively communicate testing activities and findings in oral and written formats.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Perform load and performance tests.
