POSITION

Hadoop Developer

Alpharetta, GA (LOCALS)

6+months

 

Experience working with Agile development models including Scrum

Experience with Big Data technologies, familiarity with data warehousing, dimensional modeling and ETL development

Experience working in Unix/Linux environment with shell scripting, Python

Experience around Hive, Hbase, Hadoop, Pig, Oozie, Scala, SPARK, MapReduce

Experience writing efficient queries using HIVE 

Experience with designing and implementing caching system based on Couchbase

Solid programming skills in Java

Performance tuning experience

Experience with designing and preparing technical specifications 

Good communication and presentation skills
