Description:
Hybrid of Data Architect and Business Analysis.
Must be able to design and derive a data model (a conceptual representation of data structures - tables) required in a database and is very powerful in expressing and communicating the business requirements.
Develop the system specifications by interpreting the business, user, functional, and non-functional requirements
Be able to connect the dots between different business areas – Sales, discounts, finance, pricing …
Develop deliverables such as Analysis Model based on reviewing; Use case documents or User Stories with Business Analysts
Develop design models including, class and sequence diagrams to communicate design to the development team
Ensure design for work streams is integrated and opportunities for reuse are identified which will be essential to support project timing and efficiencies
Enlist appropriate experts to ensure solutions are fully engaged with architect processes and principles
Ensure technical solutions pass architecture reviews, technical reviews and security control reviews
Ensure solutions adhere to IT principles, such as optimizing system design for performance, maintainability and usability requirements
Need to be innovative to address challenging complexities of project
Be able to do business analysis and then translate the same into the conceptual, logical and physical models
Be the go to person by the business users, SMEs, IT, developers and testers
