Position:  Oracle Retail (Retek Tech Consultant)

Location:  Goleta, CA

Duration:  6 months

 

Responsibilities              

·         Technical design , creation and documentation for modifications, integrations, conversions

·         Integration design associated with Oracle Retail functions

·         Support for Technical Architect

·         Non-functional requirements gathering and analysis

·         Performance engineering / optimization, performance testing

·         Support for functional design

·         Review of code and Technical design

 

Skills    

·         Very good experience in and understanding of technical and technological aspects in Oracle Retail area in PL/SQL and/or java based applications/components

·         Experience and understanding of Oracle Retail Merchandising/Supply Chain - RMS, RPM, ReIM, ReSA, SIM, Allocations

·         Capability in package technical architecture and design

·         Knowledge of Retek batch process and  Integration (RIB)

·         Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to interface with client technical and  functional team.

·         Ability to work in an offshore-onsite global delivery model context

 

Experience Required    

·         Minimum of  8 years of  IT experience  (Minimum of  5 years of  retek/Oracle-retail experience)

·         Oracle Retail implementation experience (at least 1)

·         Programming Languages – PL/SQL, UNIX, Pro*C, Forms

·         Other Tools (optional) – TOAD, Appworks/UC4

·         DBMS – Oracle 10g or 11g
