Title: C/C++ Developer/Test Driven Environment, on Set Top Boxes or need Embedded C – doesn't have to be Set Top Box, but preferred)

1. Must have 5+ years of solid programming expereince and knowledge of code that is syntactically correct. 
2. 5+ years of experience C/C++ with HTML and XML 
3. Familiarity with cable infrastructure, devices, and terminology (major plus)

 

Job Description                             
The position will include some development, some optimization and reviewing other applications that have already been developed; C/C++, HTML, XML, and possibly Python or Ruby to help test. 

The position will most likely be 75% development, 25% configuration and testing. 
The Consultant will also have to do deep dives into the bugs on the software that runs on the Set top boxes. 
They will also participate in Daily SCRUM Meetings. 

*someone with a background in XML and HTML with C or C++ would be a good fit-- need to be heavily familiar/past experience with embedded coding; not doing embedded coding for this project, and they don't need cloud experience - a different team is already building/has built these capabilities. 

Candidates need to have experience with pallets and have worked with constrained pallets or Palletized graphics. Also someone with Channel map, source setting would be great. 

Any Java Servlet experience and any Mpeg experience would be a great plus.
