Skills Required and Job Description:

MOI: - Telephonic + Face 2 Face Responsibilities Ensure the successful completion of software projects by executing software quality activities throughout the software development life cycle.  Design, create and own a test strategy, test plan, etc. Lead preparation and execution of manual and automated test efforts, which includes test design, and authoring of test cases, defining data requirements and performing hands on testing. Effectively communicate testing activities and findings in oral and written formats. Top Three Skills/ Experience: Practical knowledge and experience in all phases of software QA Testing at different levels (unit, functional, integration, end to end, regression, system, load and performance testing). Design, create and own a test strategy, test plan, etc. Required Skills/Experience Ensure the successful completion of software projects by executing software quality activities throughout the development life cycle. Own the preparation and execution of manual and automated test efforts, which includes test design, and authoring of test cases and defining data requirements. Conduct review of requirements, defect management, and other test activities. Manage testing defects. Create a test table from requirements. Develop and perform end-to-end functional testing Conduct performance testing Coordinate with team as requirements are managed. Build robust positive and negative test cases. Construct simple queries Design, create and own a test strategy, test plan, etc. Interface with customer to discuss and report status of testing activities  Preferred Skills/Experience 2years experience on large test efforts as a Lead: Test planning, organizing, test design, and test execution. Development and execution of Test Strategy, Test Plan and Test Schedule. Supporting test lead by identifying risks and to develop mitigation strategies. Defect management tools and processes. Practical knowledge and experience in all phases of software QA. Testing at different levels (unit, functional, integration, end to end, regression, system, load and performance testing). Facilitation of User Acceptance Testing. Designing automation efforts for medium to large test efforts. Defining data requirements for test efforts. Data gathering for test efforts. 2 to 4 years experience with developing generic and reusable frameworks that are used to support multiple applications: Development of documentation to facilitate usage of test automation framework. 2 to 4 years experience with developing manual test cases. Creating manual test cases from Use cases, Functional specs and other requirement documents. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Effectively communicate testing activities and findings in oral and written formats. Participate in reviews of system architecture, and design documents.  Experience in SharePoint Outlook MS Office Suite Visio Microsoft Office Project Hands-on N-Tier development and testing experience Able to empathize and understand business owner goals and challenges Experienced and knowledgeable of corporate software  methodologies  Educational Requirements Degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
