Title: Java/JEE Developer

Duration: 1+ year

Location: Syracuse, NY

 

Job Description:

 

This position involves designing and developing software for a Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) application.

The candidate will work under the guidance of the Architect.

The project development effort will consist of creating a Struts 2 based web front-end as well as the supporting web services.

The candidate will be required to integrate the solution with existing company web services and a MongoDB NoSQL database.
5+ years working with Java/JEE development
Strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills
Proficient in Struts 2 Web Framework
Experience building and using web services with JAX-WS and JAX-RS
Familiar with MongoDB/NoSQL
Skilled using relational databases
Strong background in web development
Understanding of OO principles and design patterns
Knowledge of open source Java Application Servers
Linux server skills are preferred
Familiarity with Git/Github
Integration SAP and Manufacturing ATE desirable.
