Position: Senior Oracle Functional/Business Analyst Consultant

his individual will be responsible for full project life cycle activities from initiation to implementation phase including gathering requirements, writing functional design documents, communicating requirements to technical team members, testing, implementing, and training.
The Analyst will act as a subject matter expert in Oracle financials modules and will play lead role in systems enhancement and configuration efforts.
Knowledge of Salesforce to Oracle AR flow via Informatica/SOA/BPEL middleware is Key.
Job Requirements
The ideal Senior Business Systems Analyst - Oracle candidate must be disciplined, dynamic and flexible to work on multiple projects, work effectively in a rapidly changing environment and meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines. Candidate must be a self-starter, who can work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
You should have strong Oracle Financials techno-functional knowledge which will enable you to partner with multiple business units to understand their business processes, prioritize information needs, and translate business requirements into high level systems solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in business and systems analysis in Oracle Financials required.
- Assist in the billing and financial month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process.
- Provide training to new users, author user guides and training materials.
- Oracle Release 12 implementation experiences is a plus.
- Order to cash knowledge is preferred.
- Support and enhance Oracle Applications interfaces integrated with non-Oracle systems
- Must understand business and systems analysis and proposal definition processes and have demonstrated experience in applying them in practice required
- Proven analysis experience in global deployments of Oracle Financials required; high level understanding of Oracle HR modules preferred
- Basic SQL & Oracle Workflow knowledge required.
- Performs needs analysis, proposal and documentation to create context and vision for business-critical solutions
- Experience developing collaborative relationships and partnerships with the business and technology departments that drive business results
- Significant experience eliciting software requirements from cross-functional stakeholders and transforming them into functional specifications
- The ability to effectively build relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Practical problem solving and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be a Self-Starter, with a proven ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
