Role:Testing Lead
Location: Portland, OR
Duration: 2years

Experience Required: 6+ years
Mandatory Skills Required:
Performs analysis of project requirements to determine feasibility for testing and develops test strategy and test plans and contribute to test cases and scripts development for most complex applications and ensures they support testing objectives
Oversees and ensures standards are maintained for test case development documentation, execution of tests and any specific technical work
Leads test defects calls and provide status and forecast defect density
Collaborates with test team, development teams and project managers to ensure defects are reported and managed appropriately.
Ensures any unresolved problems or issues are properly documented, escalated and monitored
Train team members on testing methodology, standards and tools and supervise the technical aspects of all quality assurance testing work activities
Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) on specific program or application for testing purposes and designs, and develop standardized testing procedures, and ensures that they are properly analyzed and make recommendations to improve testing processes
Act as a decision point on team to address technical problems for efficient program/application solutions and coordinate both onshore and offshore testing activities
Basic Qualifications:
• A minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing
• Hands-on experience with design, development, and implementation of testing procedures; creation of test plans, test cases and scripts to support testing objectives
• Experience with HP Quality Center, Microsoft Office, Toad, SQL, Claims Application knowledge.
• Must be able to work cooperatively as part of a large or small local and remote testing team
• Excellent organization and planning and communication skills; must be able readjust priorities
• Experience with implementation of quality assurance and testing Methodologies, processes, standards, and tools
• Must work well independently with limited direction, be a quick learner with excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills are desired
• Familiarity with any Kaiser applications is a big-plus
• Excellent analytical skills with the proven ability to solve problems both in verbal and written communications
