Description:
ERP system that runs on an IBM AS/400. The applications are written in RPG and CL programming languages. A minimum of 7 years of experience in design, coding and testing of custom modifications and new reports, applications, etc is required.
III. Requirements:
Experience, Education and Training:
• Four year degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• A minimum of 7 years RPG (III, IV, ILE) and CL application development experience on an IBM AS/400 using the relevant application development tools.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience designing, coding and testing of custom modifications and new reports, applications, etc.
• Minimum five years RPG development experience on an IBM AS/400 using the relevant application development tools and functionality, including but not limited to: AS/400 system commands, and AS400 system tools (Query), ROBOT Scheduler.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong business knowledge in the area of Order Management in a Manufacturing industry a must.
• Demonstrated knowledge in the use of business tools, such as Word, Visio, NetMeeting, Power Point, Excel, MS Project, etc.
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, organizational, time management and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to deal with stressful situations in a composed and constructive manner.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Exercise sound judgment to manage the day-to-day activities and expectations.
• Professional appearance and presentation required.
• Ability to work in an on/off shore model
