JobTitle: Triage Engineer
Location: St. Pete , FL
Duration: 12 Months Contract

 

Responsibilities:
The Triage Engineer role is responsible for working closely with IT Operations and Development teams to quickly resolve production support questions and handle technical issues in development and testing environments. Other responsibilities include:

 

- Respond quickly to reports of system problems
- Quickly understand where problems are occurring and involve members of the application development or IT Operations teams where appropriate.
- Design and develop new system enhancements
- Work as an individual as well as within a team structure to deliver complex system designs
- Developing and Designing Software Architecture Plans
- Reviewing existing software projects
- Recommending enhancements and improvements
- Designing effective system architectures with a focus in usability and scalability
- Planning and Research
- Developing software "spikes" to test out new technologies and architectures
- Testing and Measuring the performance impact of various in-place and proposed architectures
- Review code and provide feedback on areas that need improvement

 

All qualified candidates must possess the following core qualifications:
Technical Requirements:
• Experienced developer with strong .NET programming skills.
• ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web Service, WCF and Window Service experience.
• Oracle development experience (PL/SQL, reports, performance tuning).
• Experience working with large relational databases. 
• A commitment to producing top quality, well designed and flexible custom applications.
• Very strong programming ability, with great attention to detail and design.
• Strong understanding of OWASP top ten security vulnerabilities.
• Experience implementing WCF solutions.
• Experience in customizing Team Foundation Server for an application development organization.
• Experience in using MSDeploy for application deployment is preferred.

 

Candidates must have demonstrated excellent oral/written communication skills, and interpersonal skills to support interaction with internal customers, team members, and internal management. The candidate must have demonstrated an ability to work in a fast-paced / dynamic team environment and possess time management skills to meet schedules.

 

Education & Experience Requirements:
• 3-6 years development experience.
• Bachelors Degree preferred
