Position: Network engineer

Location : Plano, TX

Rate: $60/hour on CTC

Local to Dallas Only

Required Skills

Network Configuration and Implementation
Strong Cisco ASA Experience – Initial Projects are firewall intensive
Cisco VPN – Lan 2 Lan and Remote Access
Cisco Switches (HSRP,STP,VLAN,EtherChannel)
Basic Router Configuration
Ability to Troubleshoot Simple/Complex Layer 1-7 Network Issues
Ability to Troubleshoot Remote Network Outages – Issue Identification through ISP Trouble Ticked Resolution

Desired Skills

·         Cisco Load Balancer – ACE 4710 & CSS
Cisco Wireless Controllers
CoS/QoS

Required Certifications
CCNA/CCDA
CCNA Security or higher Certifications would be a plus

Responsibilities

·         In this position, you will touch on multiple disciplines including Firewalls, VPN's, both Site to Site and Remote Acess, WAN, LAN, Wireless Lan Controllers, Cisco Load Balancing, and the network/connectivity support of the entire organization including 40+ offices globally.

·         Working with the Network Architect, you will invest a large part of your time on project implementation, along with day to day operations and infrastructure support.

·         Someone who is eager to learn new technologies and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment is a must. Verbal and Written communication are especially important in this role. This is considered a senior position and will be looked upon to mentor a Junior engineer.
