Role: Solaris/Linux/VMware/High Availability Engineer contract

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 6+ Months  Contract

Interview process:*Will hire phone/Skype*

 

Job Requirements:

Experience with highly available solutions/architectures. Veritas Cluster System preferred.

Experience building and configuring major Internet host/network services including but not limited to: Web (http, SSL, etc.), Mail (Sendmail, etc.), DNS, NFS, NIS/NIS+,LDAP, Databases (Oracle, MySQL) and Java.

Experience in Cisco UCS platform.

Strong skills in VMware virtualization platform.

Strong skills in Solaris 10 or 11: ZFS, VxFS, Container, Logical Domain, Dtrace, IPS.

Must have strong Perl and/or Shell scripting skills for automation.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
