Requirements Details:

  Role :Senior Business Analyst / Database Analyst  Center City: Philadelphia, PA 
Duration: 1 year    This role is a Senior Business Analyst / Database Analyst who will be in charge of supporting the data requests, queries, reports, and research projects of internal customers at all levels of the organization.  This resource will have a strong database query background (SQL Server, SQL queries, Access and Excel) but does not need to have database development skills (stored procedures, triggers, views and the like).     The Business Analyst / Database Analyst will interact heavily with the users and must be proactive; critical thinking, the ability to ask questions, and a "learn by doing" personality are a must.  Interfacing with all levels of management will be required.        Preferred Skills:  –	Must have an extensive background in analyzing and understanding data not just moving it around.  Analyzing data sources and querying or linking them to generate meaningful, actionable data will be a daily responsibility.  –	Ability to interface with the customers directly will be required.  –	Experience performing table joins in SQL server, writing and enhancing queries, and the like will be required.  All that is needed is a good general understanding of SQL.  –	Good Access and Excel skills for reporting and data cleansing.
