Location:          Jersey City, NJ

Duration:          6+ months

 

Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead the technical aspects of a specific release through the full software delivery lifecycle within a complex, multi-year program. 
Understand, track and articulate issues / risks / action items; work with responsible owners to address the items on a timely basis; update the appropriate audiences as needed. 
Our key area of opportunity will be to quickly help track and monitor environment setup and issues/risks. 
Establish relationships with technical teams in other LOBs to clearly identify and manage interdependencies. 
Develop strong working relationships with business partners to deliver the holistic solution. 
Manage scope throughout the project duration. Maintain accurate program estimates, timelines, workplans, status reports. 
Resolving conflicts by demonstrating leadership and appropriate decision-making competencies. 
Identifying resource needs and negotiating with LOB leadership to secure necessary resources. 
Interfacing with senior technology and business managers across the firm regarding project status and resolution of issues requiring escalation. 
Expertise in project management discipline and techniques. 
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact with all levels

Demonstrate strong verbal and writing skills (written and oral). 
Demonstrate strong team building skills. 
Proven experience with direct and indirect personnel supervision. 
Handle multiple, discrete activities simultaneously. 
Demonstrate a consistent attention to detail. 
Experience with Sharepoint 
College degree 
Experience working at a large corporation, preferably banking 
Experience working on large projects with many resources
