Responsibilities:
Designs Business Objects Universe, Reports, and Business Objects SDK integration. Develops complex Web Intelligence Reports and utilizes the Business Objects SDK for portal integration. Analyzes and refines requirements, provides level of effort (LOE) estimates, creates technical requirements, and designs. Participates in the development of technical documentation, user training, and provides personalized support to users and less experienced developers.
Must Have:
- 3-5 years Java/J2EE software developer who has a strong knowledge of the Java programming language, Java Servlets, and core software development concepts.
- 1+ years experience developing web front-end user interfaces.
- 1-3 years of design and development experience in BI toolsets
- 1+ years of experience developing solutions using BusinessObjects Software Development Kit (SDK) and integration with other web-based delivery systems
- Experience writing SQL, developing SQL stored procedures and highly interested in exploring data for anomalies and trends.
- Must be capable of working on multiple projects at the same time, and must have a track record of taking initiative;
- Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to communicate clearly with clients and users, have a track record of providing frequent status updates, and have a track record of working closely with others through design and analysis sessions;
