We have an urgent requirement as follows:

Title:  SCRUM Master/ Project Manager

Location: Buena Park, CA

Duration: 6 Months

 

Visa Status: EAD, GC & CITIZEN.

 

We are a seeking a SCRUM master / Project Manager to handle tracking and reporting on a number of software development projects.  Candidates should have excellent communication skills and come from a development background in their past.  This role could be CONTRACT TO HIRE if the candidate would be interested in that arrangement.

 

Responsibilities:

Conducts daily SCRUM meetings, weekly, bi-weekly iteration planning meetings, release planning & retrospective meetings as needed following CVR's Agile SDLC which is a combination of SCRUM and XP development practices. 

 

·         Someone experienced in both traditional project management and Agile project management is strongly desired. 

·         Updates schedules and resourcing artifacts, experienced in software product creation strongly desired, especially SaaS solutions a big plus, able to identify risks and issues and collaborate with management in the mitigation of those items. 

·         Able to push Developers, QA, and Product Owners gently yet firmly towards project completion dates.  Facilitator of bug triage meetings. 

·         Must be able to work together and conduct early morning, 6 - 7am, phone and live meetings with the onshore and offshore (Hyderabad) teams. 

·         This team member will have a passion for software product, yet balance that drive with fostering a good work atmosphere and professionalism with the project team members.

·         Ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities on an ongoing and dynamic basis a must.  Experience in building out new software products very key.  Other project management duties as assigned.

·         Collaboration, Professional/Technical Expertise , Result orientation,Service Orientation/Client Focus, Should have been a developer at some point in his/her career
