Urgent need of WPF Developer.

Position : WPF Developer

Duration : 6-month contract

Location : Carrollton, Texas.

NO OPT for this requirement. 

 

The Security Systems and Operations business unit is looking for a Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) user interface software developer in Carrollton, TX.  In this role you will be working on the security projects software team focusing on projects that involve the security of critical infrastructure such as Nuclear Power Plants.  The team is developing a new system user interface using WPF and PRISM.

 

Responsibilities:

Will follow the company's software engineering process in developing software solutions for the Advanced Information Management (AIM) Security platform. 

Will be responsible for:

All software activities associated with the design, coding, and testing of new software.

Perform Software functions as governed by our software engineering process.

Work with Project Manager/Project Engineering/Customer to facilitate completion of the project.

Acquire knowledge of Rockwell Collins ARINC related products and services.

Apply all required business processes to perform essential job duties and responsibilities, ensuring compliance with relevant policies.

Establish effective communications and working relationships with project and/or department customers, team members, and management.

Meet project schedule deadlines and within budget.

 

Required experience:

3+ years of work experience with WPF in C#.

Desired experience:

Experience with MVVM and XAML

Microsoft Visual Studio Blend.

UI development using PRISM.

One or more years using any of the following technologies:

Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).

Windows Workflow (WF).

Entity Framework with Oracle or SQL Server.

Education:  BS degree.
