Job Role: Compute Hosting
Location: Downtown Chicago or Lincolnshire, IL
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Must be USC/GC only
Requirements:
15+ years of Infrastructure Experience preferred
Education: B.S. Required/M.S. Preferred
Windows Certified
AWS/Azure/VMware certified Preferred
Experience with Azure/AWS
Proven Experience with PowerShell Scripting/Automation/IaaS/PaaS
Proven experience in virtualization technologies
Cloud operations or architecture experience
Facilitate collaboration across the organization to direct and better utilize infrastructure tools.
Plan, develop and manage the infrastructure to enable strategic and effective use of tools.
Assist in the evaluation/evolution of tools/technologies/programs with input from internal teams, external developers, partners and customers.
Establishing strategy and objectives and advocate solution and direction to stakeholders.
Management experience with technical experts.
Document current solution and develop roadmaps to migrate to strategy solutions.
Proactively identifying issues and improvement opportunities.
Partner with other technology leaders, business partners, and stakeholders to understand and identify business demand, priorities, issues, and strategies to help establish and define the right structure to meet the short-term and long-term needs.
Develop business case and assess financial impacts of proposed solutions and lead the technical team on RFP/RFI's.
Directing resources to diagnose and resolve complex system, application software, security and related problems that impact system and availability.
Support global organization as a compute and cloud SME.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills are necessary.
Highly organized, structured, and process oriented.
Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to collaborate with internal and external business/technical teams.
