Position: Software Developer - Java and Python

Location: Richardson, TX

Rate: $58-60/hr. on C2C Maxx

Duration: Long Term

 

Seeking a senior level software developer proficient in Java, Javascript and Python. The developer will work as part of a team developing software to build tools and automate various processes for Client network teams. The developer will be building server side and client side applications. Should be proficient in server-side frameworks such as Spring, Django or other web MVC frameworks.

The developer will also be a part of setting development standards and practices and maintaining core libraries used in automation and tools development. Should be able to mentor junior developers, guide discussions around application development, whiteboard and resolve complex problems and be comfortable participating in requirements gathering meetings and taking an application from concept to production through Agile methodologies.

Additionally, some background in and a desire to learn Cisco network infrastructure technologies is important.

 

Proficient in the following:

Java, Python, Javascript, object-oriented design patterns

 

Familiar with the following:

HTML, CSS

Cisco network technologies

DevOps practices and tools

 

Familiarization with some of the following:

Hibernate, ORM, Relational databases, MongoDB, Redis, MySQL, RabbitMQ

Spring, Django

AngularJS, Knockout, Bootstrap

Microservices or Service Oriented Architecture
