Position: Jr. .Net Developer

Location: Morgan Hill, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (this is a sample list):

• Under general supervision, maintain and debug existing in-house applications primarily using Visual Basic for Applications within MS Access and SQL Server; knowledge of C#.NET and MVC a plus
• Assist DevOps team with database administration or systems troubleshooting as necessary
• Communicate effectively with end-users at all levels of the organization on software requirements
• Enhance current documentation
• Limited help desk support
• Application development and information management

 

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work on a team as well as independently
• Eagerness to learn new tech languages and research new technologies
• 2 to 3 years of similar experience in a software development position, preferably in a construction related field; Candidate should possess SQL Server 2012 or 2014 experience and proficiency in several programming languages including VBA and SQL. Knowledge of IIS and C# is a plus.
• High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's Degree in IT/Programming, graphic design or business related field preferred but not required
