Job Role: Cloud DBA

Location: Downtown Chicago or Lincolnshire, IL

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Immigration:  Must be USC/GC 

Requirements:

4+ year's hands on experience building and supporting Cloud based database environment

Create and administer AWS  infrastructure including EC2, RDS, and other AWS services using an Infrastructure as Code approach through Terraform or Cloud Formation

Experience with services and support of 

Manage Cloud security through RBAC processes, Security Groups, and other services and ensure their on-going fitness for use

Terraform or Cloud Formation scripting

Puppet / Ansible or other infrastructure configuration approaches an advantage

Solid knowledge of Virtualization, Remote Access Technologies, Networking & Firewalls, Windows, Linux

Knowledge and experience of IT Governance Frameworks and Agile Methodologies (e.g. ITIL, Scrum) an advantage.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills are necessary.

Highly organized, structured, and process oriented.

Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to collaborate with internal and external business/technical teams.
