Position Title: SQL DBA with Microsoft Stack experience

Contract Term: 6 month contract – potential for extension/conversion

Visa: US Citizen/Green Card only

Pay Rate: $45/hour c2c all inclusive

Interview Process: phone, then onsite or Skype interview

Location: Raleigh, NC

Job Description: Monitors performance, reliability, availability and recoverability of the databases, ETL and applications.  Works in collaboration with other DBAs  and developers in an Agile environment.  Creates self-service and automated tools to support CI and CD.  Quality Assurance team and other IT teams, along with business stakeholders to ensure that the necessary changes to the database meet the required deliverables.  The DBA team bridges the gap between internal clients and other IT functional groups.

Required Skills:

·         Bachelor's degree

·         Experience in SQL Server

·         Experience with the Microsoft stack

o   All development is based on .NET Framework , primary Language is C#.

o   The Official Microsoft ASP.NET Site MVC and HTML5 is the technology they prefer for rapid web application development.

o   Window Presentation Foundation (WPF)

o   Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)

o   SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services is the database  technology they have used for many business applications. They also have  large scale success with  Oracle and DB2 implementations.

o   SharePoint is the collaboration tool they often use for enterprise integration.

·         Powershell scripting or other similar language

·         Experience in an agile environment

·         Excellent written and verbal communication
