This resource will perform SAS grid implementation and migration tasks, implement sas data warehouse.  Also will perform hadoop ingestion & data archival requests.  This is very hands on role and candidates with hands on experience only will be considered.

 

Must-Haves:

·         5 years of Experience with Base SAS and SAS Products required

·         3 years of experience with SAS Administration

·         2 years of experience with SAS to hadoop ingestion & hive structure set up

·         Should have worked on at least one project using SAS Grid

·         One implementation experience with build of SAS data warehouse

·         3 years of shell scripting experience in a linux environment required

·         Advanced knowledge of the Linux environment and ability to program in UNIX or other high-level programming languages is a plus.

·         Proven experience in development of advanced MACROs with high programming efficiency; strong programming and problem-solving skills.

·         Knowledge of SAS Analytics, Data warehouse, Data visualization concepts, to support analytics. Knowledge of R

·         Excellent analytical, written and oral communications skills

Plus:

·         SAS Programming experience in a banking environment preferred.

·         Any ETL tool experience is a plus

·         Advanced SAS Programming Certification is preferred.

·         Provides technical and development support to build and maintain a stable and scalable SAS analytical environment

·         Work with business groups on documentation of SAS migration plan

·         Assist with migrating SAS users and processes from SAS 9.3 to SAS 9.4 on a Grid.

·         Implement processes to populate SAS data warehouse to build a shared data layer within SAS

·         Define & document process flow for build of SAS data warehouse

·         Set up data extraction & load from multiple data sources into the SAS shared data layer

·         Set up ingestion process for SAS datasets to hadoop and ingestion from various sources

·         Assist with connectivity set up and coordination for history archival requests to NAS & Hadoop

·         Recommend SAS programming solutions to leverage parallel processing of SAS Grid

·         Implement LDAP integration & access controls for SAS Business groups.

·         Work with various SAS business groups on efficient SAS programming techniques.

·         Develop Shell scripts & process for file validation and processing, job scheduling and automation

·         Set up directory structure with appropriate permissions on SAS servers for multiple business groups

·         Ensure standard coding practices are adhered to in all phases of the development life cycle.

·         Provide onboarding training documentation and process for SAS Grid Users

·         Assist with design and prepare technical specifications.

·         Perform other duties as assigned/required.
