v  DBA will need at least 8 years of prior experience in a large scale environment

v  Databases experience can focus on SQL and/or Oracle

v  Recent Cassandra experience – at least 2 years – Mandatory

 

 

Job Duties:

·         Will identify database requirements by interviewing customers

·         Analyze department applications, programming, and operations

·         Recommend solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities

·         Handle database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications.

·         Maintain database performance

·         Supports database functions by designing and coding utilities.

·         Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

·         Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
