Java UI / UX Web Developer

Responsibilities

• Ability to collaborate with product owners and implement innovative solutions for the product,
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off with user experience.
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
• Create wireframes, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
• Native app design and development
• Responsive Design and development of web applications

Requirements

• Proven UI experience
• Strong knowledge about Responsive Design, Material design
• Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies

My client needs a skill set that is easily misunderstood.  

 

·         Their title is UI/UX Developer but this job calls for strong design skills, someone skilled with wireframes, Photoshop, a portfolio of design ideas, etc.  

·         Developers can do both and Designers can develop, so it's not easy to evaluate a resume.  

·         If they don't have experience with wireframes and Photoshop, they won't fit this role.  

·         The ideal candidate has a portfolio.
