Title: Data Analyst          

Location: Deerfield, IL

Duration: 3+ months (very likely extension)

We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor the progress of the launch/survey in terms of user engagement, data entry completeness
• Leverage data validation scripts to ensure data quality
• Interpret data, analyze results and provide ongoing status reports
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Design and develop reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems
• Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
• Perform UAT on system/reporting issues
• Strong presentation skills via PowerPoint and Excel

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a Data/Business analyst
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with databases (Oracle) to build effective validation/audit scripts
• Strong Excel skills (adept at excel functions) to do data transformations, validation and audit
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at queries, adhoc report authoring skills and presentation of findings using reporting/dashboard tools (such as Cognos, Tableau etc.)
• BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
