Hiring for Senior .NET Backend Developer - Sunnyvale, CA

We have an immediate requirement with our client and the details are as follows.

 

Job Title: Senior .NET Backend Developer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 6 months with possibility of extensions up to 18 months.

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

The candidate must have expertise in middle-tier .NET C# with experience in asynchronous programming. Experience with web application development and integration testing using .NET 4.5, ASP.NET is a plus.

 

Responsibilities:

• Excellent ASP.NET MVC experience
• Ability to dive into existing complex codebases
• Excellent troubleshooting skills

 

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing using ASP.NET MVC and .NET stack
• Expert in C# 4.5 with experience in generics, LINQ, MVC/DI design patterns
• Experienced in introducing software abstractions to improve
• Experience in automated unit testing including a mock framework
• Good communication skill and experienced in working in team setting

 

Preferred

• Previous experience working on a Microsoft development team (ideally Bing)
• Worked in a combined engineering structure before where individual is responsible for testing his/her own codebase.
• Experience working in a dev-ops model
