Role                       :               Enterprise Data Architect

Location               :               Canton, Baltimore City, MD
Duration              :               12+ Months

Enterprise Data Architect to work on the data and application side of the Provider PCMH Portfolio of Corporate Initiatives (CI) projects.

Skills Required

·         Must be able to create data models/design them

·         Understand how the applications work and give guidance

·         Understand Tibco (4 out of 10), Portals, Erwing, Soup UI (a plus), Informatica

·         Will work on BCBS mandates and investment projects initially

·         This person will work on all CI projects and be their support for all Data Architecture

·         Must understand data layers, Oracle 11/12, AIX/Linux Servers

·         Healthcare background a plus

2.       Informatica design and architecture background

3.       Integration with Web Services

 

Job Responsibilities:

·         Lead application data design including model, data architecture and supporting processes.

·         Implement defined Enterprise data architecture standards. Engage with Enterprise date architecture team to review implementation and updated processes.

·         Review and address application performance requirements.

·         Interact with business users, technical SMEs, architects to update iCentric and provider portal application design.

·         May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist.

·         Engage and interact with TIBCO BW and BC architects and leads to ensure conformity with application architecture

·         Actively perform data analytics and make recommendations to business users and management for application requirements.

Job Requirement

·         Bachelor's degree in a related area and 7+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. ·         Experience in data architecture, systems integration with TIBCO BW or similar integration platform, Informatica Power exchange, SOAP UI. ·         Experience as a team lead including leading data design and architecture, application integration, performance tuning. ·         Proven experience working in cross functional teams, interact with management, business users. ·         Ability to lead architecture and design, interact with enterprise, solution and Enterprise Data architecture groups. ·         Ability to work with Business Analysts in translation of modification of requirements.

Additional Skills

·         Prefer experience or knowledge of ERWin or ER Studio or similar tools.

·         Prefer experience or knowledge of SOAP UI or similar tools.

·         Prefer experience or knowledge of Informatica Power exchange or similar tools.

·         Prefer, but not required, experience or knowledge of automation and continuous integration platforms and Agile SDLC
