Looking for hadoop tester who have some web service experience and leading knowldge or experience .

Job Title: Big data and web services Test Lead

Work Location: Deerfield, IL

Rate: 42/hr max

Duration: 6-12 months

Client: TCS

Relevant Experience: 6 to 8 years

Technical/Functional Skills:

·         Experience in Big data environment

·         Should have Hands on experience in  HIVE, Scoop, HDFS

·         Must demonstrate expertise developing RESTful web services. Hyper media restful is a plus.

·         Solid understanding and prior experience with Relational Databases (SQL) is required for this role.

·         Any prior experience with ETL is a big plus for this role.

·         Prior experience with large scale, high-concurrency data processing is a plus

Roles & Responsibilities:

·         Big Data & web service Test Lead responsibilities:

·         Participate in Requirement meeting

·         Creation of Test strategy and plan

·         Test scenario identification and Test case creation

·         Execution of Batches in Hadoop environment

·         Coordinating offshore team and ensure the deliverables are reviewed and met customer expectations

·         Should be able to lead the testing meetings and walk through the work done by QA team.

·         Experience in Retail, Pharmacy domains are added advantage

·         Be able to lead the business meetings to collect requirements and the SLA from the customer.

·         Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with Business analysts, Leads/Managers and to resolve issues and risks.

·         Experience in the domain of Retail is encouraged
