Position: SQL Developer Location: Des Moines, IA Duration: 3+ Months Extension Interview: In-Person Only NOTE: THIS IS NOT A DBA POSITION WHERE THE RESOURCE IS DOING MAINTENANCE, UPGRADES, STORAGE ALLOCATION OR BACKUP. IT IS A DEVELOPER ROLE WHERE THE RESOURCE SPECIALIZES IN CODING AGAINST A SQL BACKEND DATABASE. Experience Required - 5+ Years Experience in working with SQL Server 2008 R2, 2012, and 2016 Expert knowledge of T-SQL The initial amount on the purchase order is 3 months to take us to fiscal year end, but extension is expected. The successful candidate will spend a good portion of their time working with the KinderTrack front end developer(s) troubleshooting system problem reports and processing enhancement requests. While working on system enhancements the successful candidate is expected to propose, design, and develop solutions in concert with the front end developer(s) to fulfill the requirements of the request. The candidate will also be responsible for system testing and working with the business users during acceptance testing. The successful candidate will be required to follow standard practices for migrating changes to the test and production environments and provide post production support.
