Client has recently established a dedicated team of software engineers whose sole responsibility is to rapidly develop software solutions for our (mostly internal) business partners. Their goal is not

Perfection, but rather early value identification and creation through the development of working prototypes. We are seeking to staff additional experienced software engineers on this team. Strong candidates will have

Experience throughout the entire development stack and a broad background in custom software engineering

Responsibilities:

·         Perform all phases of software engineering including iterative engagement with business and stakeholders, building code through practices like test-driven development, and maturing continuous

·         integration and

·         delivery of product development

·         Participate in a dynamic development environment where solutions evolve daily as customer demands emerge over time.

·         Facilitate/lead/participate in identification of solution options to meet customer and technical requirements

·         Provide hands-on designs, prototypes, and implementations incorporating software engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications:

·         6+ years in the software engineering and IT Solution Delivery

·         Varying depths of experience in a variety of programming languages and tools including: Java, JavaScript, C, Python, Ruby (on rails), Grails, R, etc

·         Ability to work with a small team collaboratively and a willingness to learn new technologies and working approaches.

·         Willingness and ability to work directly with business partners on creatively solving their ambiguous problems with technology solutions.

·         Experience with mobile development technologies such as: Xamarin, Swift, jQuery, Bootstrap, Iconic, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Experience with Continuous Integration & Delivery (Jenkins, XLDeploy, etc.)

·         Experience in a "a"gile environment – focused on advocacy and puritan beliefs

·         Experience with at least one Cloud Platform and Automation including: AWS, Azure, Google, VMWare, OpenStack, etc.

·         Experience with at least one configuration technology including: Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.

·         Knowledge of various public cloud services and API's

·         Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience

·         Experience with COTS and open-source technologies and help guide decisions on different distribution, licensing and consumption models
