Working on projects from development through implementation. In this role you will be using Big Data programming languages and technologies, writing code and testing various applications. This position will analyze, design, program, debug and modify products used in large-scale analytics solutions.

 

Functions:

·         Designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting Hadoop.

·         Analyzing application specifications and technology approaches to ensure business requirements are met and are scalable for future product releases.

·         Developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining existing and new applications

·         Working with business analysts and management to recommend future application solutions.

·         Producing conceptual design documents and detailed specifications for large-scale and complex projects to reinforce our technical product and architectural standards.

·         Collaborating with business analysts to diagnose and resolve complex defects identified throughout testing phases.

 

Requirements:

·         7+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, data warehousing, business intelligence or software development.  This will include High Level Linux scripting (BASH) ,  Hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem technologies like HBase, MapReduce, Spark, Pig, Hive, etc.

·         Need solid experience with Python, Scala, Spark and Drill

·         Experience in NoSQL/SQL database design, development and data modeling.

·         Proven experience with the Hadoop stack and NoSQL data stores.

·         Experience on Java/J2EE development a plus
