Job Description

Position Summary:

The requirements engineer will be working with internal project stakeholders to understand, analyze and transform customer specifications to produce requirements, design documents or other documentation.

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

This position does not have direct reports or supervisory responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Works closely with various domain engineers. Write and edit material for system specifications, hardware specifications, software requirement specifications, etc.
• Define quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints, and other nonfunctional requirements.
• Participate in requirements 'grooming' process, where stakeholder discuss and agree on requirments scope and feasibility.
• Effectively use tools to organize technical information and produce well formatted output documents and trace matrices.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS in Computer/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience working in DOORS to create requirements.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Track record of project timeline management (i.e. able to create project plans and deliver on that plan).

Preferred Qualifications & Desired Competencies:

- Automotive experience is a big plus.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Willingness to work in an office in Novi, Michigan
