Skills Required and Job Description:

MOI : Telephonic followed by Face 2 Face Need USC/GC/EAD-GC Only As a Software Platform Specialist, working independently of the company's IT and Operations departments, you will be responsible for the automation and hands-on management of the computing environment for the Emerging Technology team. This involves the following responsibilities: Hands-on management of both cloud-based and on-premise systems Ensuring that best practices and company policies are followed, particularly in the area of security Automating and supporting the building, testing, and deployment of applications Assist other teams in the adoption of new technologies and commercialization of prototypes Contribute to knowledge transfer and learning sessions  Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Linux environment delivering commercial products AWS cloud experience, particularly infrastructure services (IaaS) including EC2, VPC, IAM Experience managing Linux security in cloud and local deployments Experience with Docker containers and related tools Proficiency in automation and devops related programming such as such as Python, JavaScript, Ruby Experience with continuous integration and build tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, TeamCity, Bamboo Familiarity with the Java software development stack, including tools like Maven and Nexus. Experience with orchestration tools such as Ansible, Salt Stack, Chef, or Puppet Experience in MySQL or other SQL. NoSQL a plus Familiarity with version Control systems such as Git, Subversion, CVS Ability to use or learn a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud service Additional Skills: Experience with the setup and management of clustered software systems, such as Elastic Search, Apache Spark, or other Big Data systems. Experience with container cluster management systems such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.  Experience:    10+ years of hands-on relevant experience
