Job Description:

·         Apex Systems in Las Vegas is looking for a Web API/C# Developer to join their team. This is a 4+ month contract opportunity. Candidates must sit onsite in Las Vegas, NV as the team is using the Extreme Programming Methodology which requires developers to meet and discuss multiple times per day.

·         This team is building a custom EHR application to replace an existing vendor system. This project is already in flight, but they need an additional developer for the API work. They already have a robust service stack build out, so the main things this developer will be doing is adding API endpoints and will be heavily involved in unit/integration testing.

 

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? Documentation, Development, Unit/System Testing

 

What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?

·         Develop MS SQL data objects (Database Schema Design, Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Functions, etc.)

·         Develop C# business layer objects (consumed by Restful Web API Services)

·         Develop unit/integration tests on the C# objects.

·         What skills/attributes are a must have? - Web API (REST), ASP.NET C# - Unit Testing, IOC / Dependency Injection

·         What skills/attributes are nice to have? - HTML - JavaScript - Bootstrap - Clinical Healthcare experience - Public Facing Transactional Portal Experience
