Description:
Each staff member assigned to this project must have a background screening that is equivalent to a Level Two (2) screening standard.
This is a fixed fee/hourly based project which is inclusive of travel, lodging, per diem expenses and all other costs associated with the completion of the associated tasks.
MANDATORY Technical/Business Skill Set Requirements (must be clearly stated on the resume and verifiable via reference checks)
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Successfully pass a Level 2 criminal background investigation, including fingerprinting, and statewide and national criminal history records checks.
• Bachelor of Science/Arts degree preferred;
• 6-8+ years' relevant Quality Assurance technical experience including systems development, testing and/or business experience can substitute for the required education.
• Experience in Agile Methodology and other application development methodologies.
• Expertise in database testing in Microsoft SQL Server environments including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procedures, jobs, triggers and replication.
• Proven capability composing test plans, writing test cases/scripts, automating test cases, and executing tests for solutions using Microsoft .NET and related technologies
• Proven experience in defining and tracking quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status
• Proven experience in Quality Management Software and Processes
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
• Experienced in Quality Assurance processes.
• Demonstrated success in working on multiple projects with multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Excellent command of the English language in order to communicate clearly and effectively to technical and business audiences, verbally and in writing
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, capable of working independently and demonstrating good decision-making abilities
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into common language understandable to non-technical/business oriented audiences
• Ability to work well in a team environment and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organization, coordinating and planning skills.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
• Knowledge of project management best practices, risk and issue management, and expectations management.
Responsibilities:
The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for including but not limited to:
• Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of system test requirements.
• Developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
• Writing test cases/scripts and involved in test case automation and execution.
• Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status.
• Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvements.
• Facilitate test plan review and use case meetings with development teams and key stakeholders.
• Provide demonstrations on fully tested features for user acceptance testing.
• Integrate evaluation and improvements into business process to address the business needs.
• Document all problems and assist in the resolution.
• Deliver quality process training to technical staff and act as an internal quality consultant.
• Perform quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed.
